Add a Domain Alias to an Existing Domain:

This article details how to add a domain alias to a domain already hosted with EPHost. Domain alias are domain names that use the same web files and email accounts as an existing domain.

Note: We use multiple control panel systems at EPhost to manage domains and servers. Please follow the appropriate instructions below depending on type of control panel you have installed on your account. To determine which control panel you are using, please login to your account, view the "Control Panel Logins" from the "Account Overview" screen and you will find the name of the control panel. e.g. Helm or DotNetPanel (DNP)

Helm Control Panel Users:

  1. Log into Account Center at http://www.ephost.com/account/.
  2. Click 'Manage Hosting (Helm)' button.
  3. This will login to your Helm hosting control panel.
  4. Click the Domains icon.
  5. Click the domain you wish to add an alias to.
  6. Click the Domain Aliases icon.
  7. Click the Add New button.
  8. Specify the domain name and extension you wish to use as an alias.
  9. Click the Save button.

DotNetPanel Users:

  1. Log into Account Center at http://www.ephost.com/account/.
  2. Click 'Manage Hosting (DNP)' button.
  3. This will login to your DotNetPanel hosting control panel.
  4. Click 'Spaces'.
  5. Click Your Plan.
  6. Click 'Domain'
  7. Click 'Add Domain'
  8. Choose Type 'Domain Alias'
  9. Type Domain Name
  10. Click 'Add Domain'
