Credit Card Failure Notification

This page gives an example 'Credit Card Failure Notification' for resellers to use in the Helm control Panel.

The Credit Card Failure Notification is sent to your user via email (if specified) when an attempt to charge their stored credit card fails.

This is the template we use for our customers at EPHost, and should serve you well.

To get to the Credit Card Failure Notification form:

  1. Log into the EPHost control panel (http://cp.ephost.com)
  2. Click the 'Billing' icon
  3. Click the 'Billing Settings' icon
  4. Click the 'Credit Card Failure Notification' icon

Example

Subject: Hosting Account Balance

Message Body:

[UserTitle] [UserLastName],

The credit card '[CreditCardFriendlyName]' in your hosting account '[UserAccountNumber]' has failed.

We were attempting to charge $[CreditCardTransactionAmount].

The failure reason reported was '[CreditCardFailureReason]'.

You current account balance is $[UserAccountBalance].

Please log into the control panel to update your credit card and make a payment.
