PocketPC's are designed to check email directly on the server like your normal email client would. Blackberry's, use different technology to check email. All you have to do is POP the account like you would MS Outlook.

We do not suggest using the web messaging interface and your PocketPC's browser to check your email. It's not very efficient and will most likely not work correctly due to the simplistic nature of the Internet Explorer Version installed on most PocketPC's.

To set up your pocket Pocket PC to use POP3 or IMAP:

  3. Enter Email Address >> Tap NEXT
  4. The Pocket PC Will Go Online and Attempt to Auto Configure (newer Pocket PC's).

  6. Enter Your Name
  7. Enter Your Username (you%your_domain.com) (see notes below)

* NOTES: You may use a @ or % sign. Some email clients will strip off the @ sign thinking you made a mistake. This is why we suggesting using the % sign instead. Your PocketPC will automatically keep a copy of the message on the server. This means that your email will still be available to you using your normal email client on your desktop computer.

Please don't forget we require SMTP authentication! (click here for those settings)
