Out-of-Band Server Security Patches and Updates

Type of Work: Out-of-Band Server Security Patches and Updates

Location: EPhost Office, San Diego, CA 92123

Purpose: We are performing out-of-band updates to all servers as a result of recently reported Microsoft Windows vulnerabilities among others. EPhost Web Administrators will be working on the EPhost Network performing Linux and Windows updates on all servers both tonight and tomorrow night instead of next week. The bulk of the work will be 01/19 tomorrow, but we wanted an opportunity to work on some servers tonight.

Window One:

Window Start: 01/18/2019 - 8:00pm PST
Window End: 01/19/2019 - 12:00am PST

Window Two: 

Window Start: 
01/19/2019 - 8:00pm PST
Window End: 
01/20/2019 - 12:00am PST

Service Impact: This work is expected to take approximately 4 hours and you may experience intermittent access to your website during the maintenance window. 

Schedule: The window are scheduled to begin at 8:00pm on Saturday and Sunday until midnight. Should additional time be required, notice will be provided and the work window will be expanded.

Testing & Planning: All testing and planning being conducted during this window is part of a pre-defined checklist designed by the EPhost Web Administrator team.

Regression Planning: The EPhost Web Administrator team will be on-site managing this window. As with any Network Maintenance, while highly unlikely, there is a possibility that something unexpected may occur during the work process. Should any issues arise, all equipment will be placed back into standard operation and the work will be postponed until the issue is resolved.

Purpose: EPhost Web Administrators will be working on the EPhost Network performing Linux and Windows updates on all servers.

Window Start: 12/22/2019 - 8:00pm PST
Window End: 12/23/2019 - 12:00am PST

Service Impact: This work is expected to take approximately 4 hours and you may experience intermittent access to your website during the maintenance window.

Schedule: The window for Network Maintenance is scheduled to begin at 8:00pm on Sunday, December 22nd, 2019, and end at 12:00am on Monday, December 23rd, 2019. Should additional time be required, notice will be provided and the work window will be expanded.

Testing & Planning: All testing and planning being conducted during this window is part of a pre-defined checklist designed by the EPhost Web Administrator team.

Regression Planning: The EPhost Web Administrator team will be on-site managing this window. As with any Network Maintenance, while highly unlikely, there is a possibility that something unexpected may occur during the work process. Should any issues arise, all equipment will be placed back into standard operation and the work will be postponed until the issue is resolved.

Emergency Network Maintenance

Type of Work: Emergency Network Maintenance 

Location: EPhost Datacenter, San Diego, CA 92123

Purpose: Network Engineers will update the OS on the access router.

Window Start: 11/05/2019 - 8:30 PM PDT
Window End: 11/05/2019 - 11:59 PM PDT

Service Impact: This maintenance is expected to be service impacting though minimally. Clients may see brief periods of instability, as the network reconverges and switches over to our redundant connections at the start of the maintenance window. A second period of instability may occur for clients once the primary router is brought back into normal operations after the OS upgrade.

Schedule: The window for maintenance is scheduled to begin at 8:30 PM PDT on Tuesday, November 5th, 2019 and end at 11:59 PM PDT. Should additional time be required, notice will be provided and the maintenance window will be extended.

Testing & Planning: All testing and planning being conducted during this window is part of a pre-defined checklist designed by the EPhost Web Administrator team.

Regression Planning: The EPhost Web Administrator team will be on-site managing this window. As with any Network Maintenance, while highly unlikely, there is a possibility that something unexpected may occur during the work process. Should any issues arise, all equipment will be placed back into standard operation and the work will be postponed until the issue is resolved.
