Mail Server Upgrade

Location: FADC, San Diego, CA 92123

Purpose: EPhost Web Administrators will be working on the EPhost Network performing a mail server upgrade.

Window Start: 2/21/2018 - 5:00pm PST
Window End: 2/21/2018 - 6:00pm PST

Service Impact: This work is not expected to be web service impacting, but will effect mail service intermittently during the allotted maintenance window. During this time sending email will be disabled. Delivery of email will be delayed and Email servers will retry sending again within the hour.

Schedule: The window for Mail Server maintenance is scheduled to begin at 5:00pm on Wednesday February 21st, and end at 6:00pm on Wednesday February 21st. Should additional time be required, notice will be provided and the work window will be expanded.

Testing & Planning: All testing and planning being conducted during this window is part of a pre-defined checklist designed by the EPhost Web Administrator team.

Regression Planning: The EPhost Web Administrator team will be on-site managing this window. As with any Mail Server maintenance, while highly unlikely, there is a possibility that something unexpected may occur during the work process. Should any issues arise, all equipment will be placed back into standard operation and the work will be postponed until the issue is resolved.

Type of Work: Applying downloaded Linux and Windows Updates and Security Patches

Location: EPhost Office, San Diego, CA 92123

Purpose: EPhost Web Administrators will be working on the EPhost Network performing Linux and Windows Updates on all Windows servers.

Window Start: 2/25/2018 - 8:00pm PST
Window End: 2/26/2018 - 12:00am PST

Service Impact: This work is expected to take approximately 4 hours and you may experience intermittent access to your website during the maintenance window.

Schedule: The window for Network Maintenance is scheduled to begin at 8:00pm on Sunday, February 25th, 2018, and end at 12:00am on Monday, February 26th, 2018. Should additional time be required, notice will be provided and the work window will be expanded.

Testing & Planning: All testing and planning being conducted during this window is part of a pre-defined checklist designed by the EPhost Web Administrator team.

Regression Planning: The EPhost Web Administrator team will be on-site managing this window. As with any Network Maintenance, while highly unlikely, there is a possibility that something unexpected may occur during the work process. Should any issues arise, all equipment will be placed back into standard operation and the work will be postponed until the issue is resolved.

IMPORTANT MAINTENANCE: Replacement of Firewall and Switch Infrastructure.

In a continued effort to provide clients with state-of-the-art IT infrastructure services, this is to notify you that EPhost Administrators will be performing network maintenance on Saturday March 3rd 2018. Unlike most of our maintenance, this WILL be service impacting, please continue reading.

Type of Work: Network Maintenance

Location: EPhost Data Center San Diego, CA 92123

Purpose: Continued delivery of stable and reliable network operations.

High Level Summary: Replacement of Firewall and Switch Infrastructure.

Window Start: 3/3/2018 @ 9:00 PM PST
Window End: 3/4/2018 @ 2:00 AM PST

Service Impact Summary: THIS WILL BE A SERVICE IMPACTING EVENT. The EPhost Network will be TAKEN OFFLINE at 11PM PST for a period of about 30 minutes. Once services are back online, some services will continue to be intermittent during the entire maintenance window as we reorganize the Firewall, switching and CDU topology. Remote mail servers attempting to send mail during this time will retry after 90 minutes.

Schedule: The window for maintenance is scheduled to begin at 9:00 PM on Saturday March 3rd 2018, and end at 2:00 AM on Sunday March 4th 2018. Should additional time be required, notice will be provided and the maintenance window will be extended.

Testing & Planning: All testing and planning being conducted during this window is part of a pre-defined checklist designed by the EPhost Web Administrator team. In the event that our testing is not completed, we will revert back to the previous configuration.

Regression Planning: The EPhost Web Administrator team will be on-site managing this window. As with any Network Maintenance, while highly unlikely, there is a possibility that something unexpected may occur during the work process. Should any issues arise, all equipment will be placed back into standard operation and the work will be postponed until the issue is resolved.

Shared Services Email Changes

Shared Services Email Changes:

Customers using our Shared Services plans we have increased the limits of the existing Shared Services plans and have created a couple new ones to accommodate various mailbox size needs. Customers currently on free Shared Services plans, will be converted to our new EP Shared Services Starter Plan, which is $5/month. Additionally, existing Shared Services Pro and Corporate plans will be converted to the Shared Services Starter and Professional, respectively. Those will change in email disk space allocation but not price.

EP Shared Services Starter: 2GB increased to 4GB (Cost: $5/mo)

EP Shared Services Professional: 4GB increased to 8GB ($10/mo)

EP Shared Services Business: 8GB increased to 12GB ($15/mo)

EP Shared Services Corporate: 12GB increased to 16GB ($20/mo)

EP Starter Plan: 2GB increased to 4GB

EP Professional Plan: 4GB increased to 8GB

EP Business Plan: 8GB increased to 12GB

EP Corporate Plan: 12GB increased to 16GB
