To Our Valued Clients,

In a continued effort to provide our clients with the best state-of-the-art data center infrastructure, this e-mail is to notify you that EPhost, Inc. will be performing maintenance on Saturday, July 23, 2011.

Purpose: On July 23rd EPhost, Inc. will perform a simulated "loss of primary (utility) power" transfer to generator power. We do not anticipate any issues and there should not be any client mission critical systems load impact. Once on generator power and with all systems stabilized, SDGE will isolate the building from utility source power to facilitate performing preventive maintenance on the utility source switchgear and replace the utility source over-current protection device (OCPD) - "breaker." Throughout this process engineers will be onsite prepared to respond to any contingency. Once the preventive maintenance is completed and breaker replaced, EPhost, Inc. will return to primary source (utility) power. The activity is expected to take four to six hours to complete.

Window Start: 7/23/2011 - 4:30am PDT
Window End: 7/23/2011 - 7:00pm PDT

Service Impact: This maintenance is not expected to be service impacting.

Schedule: The window for maintenance is scheduled to begin at 4:30am on Saturday, July 23, 2011, and end at 7:00pm on Saturday, July 23, 2011. Should additional time be required, notice will be provided and the maintenance window will be expanded.

Testing & Planning: All testing and planning being conducted during this window is part of a pre-defined checklist designed by the EPhost, Inc. electrical engineering team and consistent with IEEE and UL standards.

Regression Planning: The EPhost, Inc. electrical engineering team will be on-site managing this window. As with any electrical maintenance, while highly unlikely, there is a possibility that something unexpected may occur during the maintenance process. Should any issues arise, all equipment will be placed back into standard operation and the maintenance will be postponed until the issue is resolved.
