We are excited to announce that we have provisioned new data center floor space within our existing facility. The added room and upgraded infrastructure will be a big benefit for all customers.

Type of Work: We are officially announcing that on September 22nd from 10:00pm - 3:00am we will move all physical servers to the new space. The move is being made in one shot for the least disruption & downtime to the network.

Service Impact: This will be a seamless move requiring no special changes on your part. However there will be some unavoidable downtime while the servers are re-racked. Servers will be incrementally restored and are not expected to be down during the entire maintenance window.

Location: LWDC, San Diego, CA 92123
Window Start: 9/22/2018 - 10:00pm PST
Window End: 9/23/2018 - 3:00am PST

Purpose: We're growing! The new floor space positions us to be one hop from the DC Cloud and Storage Network and will remove one hop for almost all customers (faster). It will include additional 52U racks (more space), 208V power (more power), the availability of 2N power (simultaneous A & B side power circuits), continued availability of N+1 power (failover power), Hot Standby Routing Protocol (HSRP) implementation and performance routed bandwidth using Border Gateway Protocol (BGP).
