However, if any of the situations below apply to you (you'll probably know already) then you'll want to take appropriate action on Monday October 29th at 9:00pm PST. See "Important" Section below.

1) Your domain is not pointed to EPhost, but rather to a 3rd party DNS (name) server.
2) You have your own vanity/private name servers.
3) You are using an IP address that starts with, 69.43.X.X in your website code.

To be sure you do not have to do anything you can check by following the instructions here:

http://www.ephost.com/support/index.php?_m=news&_a=viewnews&newsid=44
See section: "How can I be sure no action is necessary?"

IP Assignments:

Case 1: If your IP address was:

69.43.171.XXX then it will now be 71.6.175.XXX

For Example:

Your IP was: 69.43.171.50
It will now be: 71.6.175.50

(x.x.x.50 = x.x.x.50)

Case 2: If your IP address was:

69.43.134.XXX then it will now be 71.6.174.XXX + 7

For Example:

Your IP was: 69.43.134.10
It will now be: 71.6.174.17

(x.x.x.10 + 7 = x.x.x.17)

PLEASE NOTE: This applies to all EPhost IP address. e.g. mail server was: 69.43.171.16 and will now be 71.6.175.16

To find your IP address:

1) Login to the control panel.
2) Click domains
3) Click on your domain.
4) Click Website Settings icon.
5) Look at the IP address in the blue box.

IMPORTANT:

If you use a third party DNS server you will need to update the IP address to the new IP address on Monday, October 29th at 12:00am Midnight PST (REVISED). You will need to make this change with your DNS provider directly.

If you have private name servers then you will want to update your name server IP address on Monday, October 29th at 12:00am Midnight PST (REVISED). You will need to do this with your registar directly. Note, if we (EPhost or RegiSite) created your private name servers, then we will make this change for you automatically.
