How many domain names can I have?

The question could be phrased as, "How many domains can I afford to buy?" or "How many domains can I manage or build?", the answer really comes down to you can have as many domain names as you desire to own and manage.

Aside from web hosting, many people use extra domains so they can just point them to their main website. Perhaps to cover common misspellings or industry terms that might help in the search engines.

A good rule of thumb, and an affordable one, is to only to buy domains that are genuinely helpful to your users. For example, if your company was: "www.misspelling.com" you might want to get: "www.mispelling.com."

However before you purchase a large number for these reasons, you might want to read our article on "Do Keyword rich domains help in the search engines", where we cover these topics.

A typical Windows hosting account at EPhost can support between 2-12 domains depending on the package. It would support more if you purchased more packages. Additionally, your account can support an equal number of Domain Aliases (pointers).  We have many custom options to fit any need or budget, just contact us for more information at 1-877-EPHOST1 or our Contact Page.
