Adding a New Website Print

All EPhost web hosting packages include the ability to host multiple domains. Based on your Windows hosting package, you can setup between 2-12 completely independent websites.

To add a new website on your Windows Hosting Plan (Plesk Control Panel):

1. Login to your account.
2. Click the green 'Control Panel' button.
3. Click 'Websites & Domains'.
4. Put in the new domain name without 'WWW'.
5. Click the blue 'Add Domain' button.

The system will automatically setup your domain based and allocate resources, like email, based on your web hosting package. Lastly, you will need to point the domain to EPhost Name Servers for your account. If you chose, Register the Domain or Transfer the domain registration- you will not need to take this step as the system will do it for you.

NOTE: WINDOWS or LINUX - domain transfers can take up to 5 days. Domain registrations will be processed within 10 minutes unless payment is due on the account.

To add a new website on your Linux Hosting Plan:

1. Login to your account.
2. Click the green 'Control Panel' button
3. In the "Domains" Section, click 'Addon Domains'
4. Fill out the "New Domain Name", the "subdomain" and "Document Root" will be created with defaults
   1. OPTION - you may 'check' the "Create an FTP account" if you need this feature with the new domain
5. Click the blue 'Add Domain' button

You can of course over ride the "Subdomain" and "Document Root"

Lastly, VERIFY that the DNS Record was also added during the Domain Creation in the "Zone Editor"
