Temporary URL
Posted by Joe Rebis (Import) on 17 September 2006 01:04 AM

When a new website is created, often times the domain name will not be pointed to EPhost. As such you would not be able to type it into a browser to see your website until this step had been completed.

To see your website before your domain has been pointed (prepropagation support) you could create a Temporary URL.

To create a Temporary URL:

  1. Login to the Control Panel
  2. Click Domains and select a domain
  3. Click Create Temporary URL
  4. Note the URL.

You can use this URL to display your website until it has been pointed to EPhost.
